The terms for using Value Cards
Last updated 11 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Value Cards at valuecards.viktorcessan.com, whether you map your own values, buy a team mapping, subscribe to the Practitioner plan or book a facilitated workshop. By creating an account or making a purchase you accept them. Business customers also get the data processing agreement in section 10.
1. Who you are dealing with
Value Cards is sold and run by Cessan Lean and Agile Coaching AB, org. no. 559103-8699, Ribbylundsvägen 3, 137 41 Västerhaninge, Sweden, referred to as "we" below. You reach us at valuecards@viktorcessan.com.
2. The products and prices
The prices on the website are in euro and are the prices that apply when you buy. VAT is added where it applies, based on your country and whether you buy as a business.
- Personal analysis, €9 once per account. Mapping your own values is free. The personal analysis unlocks the full analysis of every personal mapping you make with that account, now and later, with the deeper report, comparison over time and a PDF.
- Team mapping, €299 per team. One mapping and one workshop for a team of up to 12 people, with invitations, reminders, a join code, guesses, how working together feels, frictions, the live workshop and the written summary. Mapping the same team again within a year costs €199.
- Practitioner plan, €199 a month. For coaches, therapists and internal learning and development people who work with clients, with 25 client mappings a month, pairs, history and private notes. Team mappings are bought separately, at €299 per team for practitioners.
- Facilitated workshop, from €3,000. Viktor Cessan runs the workshop with up to 20 people, remote or on site, with a preparation call with the manager and a follow-up on the agreements. Travel and VAT are added. The facilitated workshop is agreed and invoiced outside the app.
We can change prices for the future. A change never affects a purchase already made, and a subscriber is told by email at least 30 days before a new monthly price applies.
3. Payment and invoices
Purchases on the website are paid by card through Stripe, which handles the payment, the VAT and the invoice. We never see your card number. Every purchase comes with an invoice, which you find on your account page and in the email from Stripe.
From five teams we offer a per team price and one invoice, paid by bank transfer within 30 days. Write to valuecards@viktorcessan.com to set that up.
4. The Practitioner subscription
The Practitioner plan is a monthly subscription that renews automatically on the same day each month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your profile, and the plan then runs to the end of the month you have paid for, with no refund for a started month. Your clients' mappings stay readable to you until the plan ends. If a payment fails, we tell you by email and try again, and if it still fails the plan is paused until it is paid.
5. Refunds and cancellation
If you buy a team mapping and have not used it, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase. A team mapping counts as used when the first invitation has been sent. The personal analysis is delivered at once when you buy it, so by buying it you agree that the 14 day right of withdrawal for private buyers ends when the analysis is unlocked. A facilitated workshop follows the terms in its own agreement.
6. Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email address, and you are responsible for keeping that address safe. You can delete your account at any time from your profile, and it is removed 30 days later. We can close an account that is used against these terms, and we tell you why.
7. Acceptable use
Value Cards is a tool for a conversation between people who work together. It is never to be used to select, rank or rate people, and never for hiring, promotion, pay or dismissal decisions. The maps show patterns and the person's own words, not scores, and the written summary describes a team, not a person. Taking part is each person's own choice, and an organisation may not require it or draw conclusions about anyone who declines.
You may not try to see another person's cards before the reveal, share invitation links with people outside the team, use the service to send unwanted email, or try to get around its security. Whoever runs the workshop agrees to keep what people share in it within the team.
8. Your data and ours
What you write in Value Cards is yours. We use it only to run the service for you, as the privacy policy describes. The cards, the texts, the exercise and the software are ours, and you get a right to use them in the service for as long as you have access. You may print the map and the summary for your own team and nothing else.
9. The service and our liability
We work to keep Value Cards available and correct, and we tell you in the app when planned maintenance is coming. We do not promise that the service is free of faults or always available, and we are not responsible for what a team decides after a workshop. Our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the product the claim concerns in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
10. Data processing agreement for business customers
This section is the data processing agreement between the organisation that buys a team mapping or a Practitioner plan, the customer, and Cessan Lean and Agile Coaching AB, the processor, as the GDPR article 28 requires. It applies from the first purchase and for as long as we hold the customer's data.
Roles and instructions
The customer is the controller of the personal data of the people it invites, and we process it only on the customer's documented instructions, which are these terms, the privacy policy and the settings the customer makes in the app, such as the reveal mode, the collaboration view and whether the AI summary is on. If we believe an instruction breaks the law, we tell the customer before we act on it.
What is processed
The data is the names, email addresses, roles, sorts, chosen cards, written words and answers about teammates of the people the customer invites, for the purpose of the values exercise and its workshop. Three cards, Religion, Faith and Spirituality, can reveal a belief and are shown to the team only with the person's explicit consent, which the app collects.
Our duties
- We keep the data confidential, and everyone who works for us and can reach it is bound by confidentiality.
- We protect the data with the measures in the privacy policy, with encryption in the database and in transit, hashed tokens, limited access and daily backups.
- We help the customer answer requests from the people whose data it is, and help with the customer's own obligations on security, breach notices and impact assessments, as far as we can.
- We tell the customer without undue delay, and at the latest within 72 hours of learning of it, if personal data is lost, changed or seen by someone who should not see it, with what we know about what happened and what we are doing.
- We delete the customer's data twelve months after the workshop, or earlier when the customer asks, and we delete it from backups within 30 days after that. Invoices and bookkeeping records are kept as the law requires.
- We give the customer the information it needs to show that this agreement is followed, and allow an audit on reasonable notice, at the customer's cost, no more than once a year unless an authority requires it.
Subprocessors and where the data is
The data is hosted in the EU. We use the subprocessors listed in the privacy policy, which are the hosting provider one.com in the EU, Stripe for payments, an email service with an EU region, and Anthropic for drafting the written summary, which the customer switches on for each team, which receives the card combinations and the computed patterns with people as codes and never names, email addresses, roles or the company’s name, and which receives written words only if the customer allows it. The customer agrees to these subprocessors by accepting these terms. We tell the customer at least 30 days before we add or replace one, and the customer can object in writing, in which case we try to find another way, and failing that the customer may end the agreement for the affected mapping with a refund of what is not yet used.
When the agreement ends
When the customer's last mapping is deleted and no plan is active, the agreement ends. The customer can download the team map and the summary before that, and we delete everything else as described above.
11. Law and disputes
Swedish law applies to these terms. A dispute that we cannot settle by talking is decided by the Swedish courts, with Stockholm District Court as the first instance. A private buyer in another EU country keeps the protection of the mandatory rules of that country and can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
12. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. A change that affects you is announced by email or in the app at least 30 days before it applies, and if you do not accept it you can cancel your plan before then.
